About the role

This is a player / coach role, you’ll have the proven experience to deliver against a quota and pick up and close our largest enterprise deals whilst upskilling and enabling your team to deliver repeatable results via systems, data, playbooks and processes.

You will be directly responsible for health metrics and own results for our new business sales team. You’ll be experienced in managing a team of 5+ reps whilst supporting a small number of our largest scale opportunities in a range of £1m ACV+. 

From a reporting perspective, you’ll be accountable to Director level and our Executive leadership team. You’ll have a group of peers who are in turn responsible for other areas of our business across activation, adoption, retention and operational excellence. 

Within this role you’ll bring  technical know-how, hands on experience within B2B SaaS sales to similar client personas or market segments and shape how our sales team perform now and in the future.

Key responsibilities
In addition, key responsibilities include:

Management:
  • Collaborate with team managers and pillar leads to align new business sales and GTM with overall business objectives. You will be comfortable making sure plans turn to concrete actions and results.
  • Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing Sales team, fostering a performance based culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead with an ongoing improvement and change mindset to incrementally improve ways of working across the team and across outbound / inbound and partner channels 

Driving revenue:
  • Directly support a small portfolio of high value opportunities alongside overall team management. 
  • Share best practice through example, whilst you won’t be closing deals daily, you’ll be able to lead by example and support others through the process. 
  • Bring together best practice with industry knowledge and the wider team knowledge in Amiqus to deliver a market leading multi channel approach in-line with our 10x growth plans.
About you
  • 8+ years of Sales experience, with at least 3 years in a manager / team manager role within a B2B Enterprise SaaS or compliance based software company. You’ll be familiar and comfortable with ACV’s ranging from £25k to £1m+. Regtech experience a bonus

  • Proven track record in building and scaling sales or business development functions, creating a team culture of trust, accountability and performance

  • Organised and proven team-building skills, owning a performance based culture, both in person and hybrid remote.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience with Sales automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms. Hubspot being a bonus

  • At the centre of a network of Sales Reps that can be used to build out your team
