Job description

Your mission
Are you a passionate and experienced CV/ML Engineer looking for an opportunity to build world-class scanners ranging from OCR to tire tread depth? Then you’ve come to the right place! We are hiring curious and hands-on talents who actively push the boundaries of digitizing the analog world with us. We are looking to hire someone to start as soon as possible, but are flexible in the final start date! 
 
What you will be doing: 
  • Development and support of our in-house build frameworks by improving existing world-class mobile OCR products and integrating legacy code into it.
  • Take ownership in organizing and managing data needed for the training and ensuring its quality to achieve the best possible results for our novel machine learning approaches. 
  • Development of new products and support of existing products using our frameworks for Cloud and Mobile platforms.
  • Work closely with team members on complex tasks, mentoring engineers with less experience and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Bringing together different technology backgrounds with other Engineering teams, such as mobile engineers, cloud engineers, architects and domain specialists.  
  • Collaborate with our Product team to understand the business needs of the prospects and customers, to identify suitable solutions addressing these needs and to define and drive the product vision together as a team. 
  • Proactively communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
Your profile
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning in image domain, preferably OCR.
  • Proficient level of Python (programming, packaging, testing, PEP8).
  • Solid software engineering skills (design patterns, git, …).
  • Data engineering and management skills.
  • Hands on experience with Docker, PyTorch/TensorFlow, standard CV/ML python libraries.
  • Experience of working in agile environments and open communication skills.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and in written language. 
  • Beneficial are knowledge in model pruning and optimization, CI/CD, GCP, Kubernetes, and Lua.
