Principal Software Engineer ( Automotive Radar)

We are building the next generation of Radar System Solutions, with the Radar Front End (RFE) Software team playing a critical role in developing high-quality automotive embedded software. The RFE is a key component of the software system, responsible for transmitting, receiving, and processing RF signals before passing them to a backend processor. It significantly influences radar accuracy, range, and overall performance.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to design, develop, and optimize software solutions for RF front-end systems in automotive and ADAS applications. In this role, you will work on integrating RF hardware components with software systems to enable seamless communication, signal processing, and performance optimization. The candidate has a strong technical background in RF technologies, software development, and system integration, with a proven ability to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.

Skill set (Must Have):

• Strong C programming, MATLAB  skills for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M and A series)
• Strong industry experience in designing and architecturing embedded system solutions having memory and timing constraints.
• Bare metal programming skills for high-performance real-time systems (development on FPGA, Emulators, and silicon)
• Knowledge and experience with Inter-processor communication software stack development
• Implement & Optimize Signal Processing Algorithms on DSP Processor
• Experience with Radar system( Analog domain, Digital domain )
• Test and Measurement products experience like 3-4-5G, (Keysight/Tektronix/R&S)
• Proficiency in automotive standards ( ISO26262, AUROSAR)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and team work skills for cross functional collaboration .

Skill set (Good to have)

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for software architecture design.
• Familiarity with Requirement management tools like ELM
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git and defect management tools ( JIRA)
• Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks, including their practical implementation.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems, development and architecture design in Automotive industry .

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
