Job description

Overview:

The Program Manager designs, builds, and manages organization-wide programs, solutions, initiatives and projects in which the Learning and Developed group is the primary owner. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging stakeholders, driving continuous improvement, administering learning systems, and measuring behavior change to help to achieve outcomes that support our values and vision.



Responsibilities:
  • Plans, directs, administers, and oversees enterprise-wide programs and processes, to include, but not limited to, Mentor Program, Continuous Performance Improvement programs.
  • Manages vendor relationships and contract negotiation strategies with all vendors in partnership with Sr. Manager Talent Development leader.
  • Act as the administrator for all learning systems as the LMS, LinkedIn Learning, , and other performance related systems.
  • Acts as a first line of support for end-users, educating leaders and employees on how to use the systems efficiently.
  • Consult leadership teams to increase engagement in existing programs and increase the impact of programs to drive behavior change
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate, establish success metrics for projects and ensure performance is tracked and measured
  • Measure the outcomes and outputs of projects and process improvement endeavors and leverage quantitative results to inform the direction of the business
  • Any other special projects as assigned by the Sr. Manager Talent Development leader.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop metrics such as completion rates, learner satisfaction, and impact on performance. to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring they meet business objectives and employee development needs.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training programs by rigorously monitoring results against corporate goals and key performance indicators and implement data-driven improvements to maximize impact.

 Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all training programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and employee progress to comply with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Oversee integration of third-party training content.
  • Generate custom reports for various stakeholders to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Employ learning analytics tools to discern trends that reveal the system’s usage, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations to optimize the system’s impact.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within an operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing and implementing large-scale training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of data management and software-based technology
  • Ability to prepare concise, accurate reports.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and employee performance data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and levels.
