Overview:
The Frontend Solution Architect leads the architectural direction for enterprise microfrontend applications, establishing technology standards and patterns that enable rapid product launches across markets. This position focuses on creating scalable frontend architectures while maintaining backend integration capabilities.
Starting base pay for this role is between $140,000 and $175,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities:
• Architects and implements enterprise-scale microfrontend solutions using React and modern frontend technologies
• Partners closely with UX teams to implement design systems and component libraries
• Establishes frontend development standards, testing practices (TDD/BDD), and architectural patterns
• Champions pair programming practices and collaborative development workflows
• Drives adoption of modern frontend testing frameworks and continuous integration practices
• Partners with business leadership to identify opportunities for frontend architecture innovation
• Leads proof of concepts for new frontend technologies and frameworks
• Mentors development teams on React best practices, XP methodologies, and test-driven development
• Shapes enterprise architecture patterns with emphasis on frontend scalability and performance
• Drives standardization of frontend development practices across teams
• Tailors technical communication to diverse audiences
• Stays informed on frontend architecture trends and emerging technologies
• Experience in C# in building backend APIs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years experience in frontend development, with 5+ years React expertise
• Deep understanding of microfrontend architectures and module federation
• Expert knowledge of React ecosystem, state management, and performance optimization
• Strong experience with XP practices, TDD, and BDD methodologies
• Expertise in frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript features
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment strategies
• Knowledge of backend integration patterns and API design
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
• Understanding of accessibility standards and frontend security best practices
• Experience leading frontend architecture initiatives in enterprise environments
• Proficient in at least one back end strongly-typed language (Java, C/C++, C#, etc.).
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
