This contract position will assist with the management and execution of our web experimentation program, with a primary focus on optimizing user experiences, driving growth, and increasing the velocity of our experimentation program. This role is structured as a short-term and temporary independent contractor engagement, not as an employment relationship. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and self-employed professionals who excel in a dynamic environment and will be responsible for driving both increased output and efficiency of the web experimentation program. As an independent contractor, you will be instrumental in advancing our high standards across various touchpoints.
About the role:
- Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)
- Full time contract basis
- Contingent contract basis [add timeframe max 6 months contract or shorter based on project length
- Contractor Status Note: This is an independent contractor position. Contractors are not eligible for company benefits, paid holidays, PTO, or leaves of absence unless required by law. Valid work authorization required for the country of operation. Compensation will be structured according to geographic market zones and contractor status. Specific rates will be discussed during the contracting process
The contractor will:
- Maintain the Web team’s experimentation backlog; from generating test ideas to prioritization.
- Assist with site audits to identify potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage timely progression of experiments from ideation to launch.
- Monitor live experiments to ensure no major anomalies.
- Assist with Experimentation Program process improvement.
- Assist with experiment interpretation, analysis, and recommended next steps.
- Manage completed experiments documentation.
About you:
The ideal contractor will have:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), web analytics, or growth marketing with various clients.
- Have experience evaluating and testing creative and messaging, understanding what drives user action.
- Are familiar with data analysis and basic experimentation techniques, with proficiency in tools such as Google Sheets, Amplitude, Snowflake and Tableau.
- Have experience with, and feel comfortable using optimization platforms such as Optimizely, Intellimize, AB Tasty, Adobe Target, WVO, etc.
- Are innately curious- you scrutinize results and wonder what could be tested.
- Have strong attention to detail and organization with the ability to manage projects.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
