About The Role
As our new Lead Ruby / Rails Developer, you’ll play a critical role in leading the development of our next-generation platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, high-productivity coder with a passion for building the right thing right. This person should be comfortable communicating with Product team stakeholders and Engineers to design systems that satisfy high-priority business requirements with an eye toward future changes.
This is a fully remote position. Interviews will be conducted via phone and video calls. The salary is $150,000 to $170,000 annually, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
The Role in Action
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring efficient and effective software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product team stakeholders to understand and address high-priority business requirements.
- Design scalable and adaptable systems that accommodate future changes and evolving needs.
- Foster clear and proactive communication with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Ensure software solutions are built with a focus on delivering the right features in the right way.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who’ll hit the ground running with:
- 10+ years of web application development using a Ruby / Rails tech stack.
- Expert-level object-oriented design skills.
- Experience working at scale with large codebases, large data sets, and high transaction volume systems.
- Experience with continuous delivery development pipelines.
