Software Engineer - Cloud

TigerGraph Savanna is the industry first graph database PaaS offering with a starter kit and graph solution templates. The major work for this position is to develop backend infrastructure for cloud platforms. You will be joining an exciting team to make the powerful and performant graph database engine easily accessible to many enterprises and developers, and shape how enterprises think about their problems and help with their solutions for different industries.

What you will be doing:

• Develop SaaS offerings for TigerGraph Savanna (TigerGraph as a Service).
• Collaborate with TigerGraph core database team to develop cloud native and elastic TigerGraph.
• Contribute to the cloud service offering and provide architecture design.
• Updating and maintaining a scalable database cloud offering.

Requirements:

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience on building microservice architecture, past experience on building large scale systems.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Familiarity with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Go, Java, Python.
• Familiarity with at least one of the relational databases: MySQL, Postgres or equivalent.
• Experience or familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with cloud operations, experience or ability to respond to operational issues.
• A self starter who has experience with multi-functional technical teams and decision makers.

Bonus points:

• Certifications with cloud platforms.
• Familiar with container technologies and Container Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes).

If the candidate lives with a commuting distance from a TigerGraph office (Redwood City or San Diego, CA), the candidate will be expected to work from the office 2-3 days/week. The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $130,000 - $145,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. TigerGraph is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
