JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will support the execution of social media initiatives by creating and sharing engaging content, managing day-to-day interactions with online communities, and assisting with campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and contribute to the success of our social media efforts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing social media platforms, a strong ability to create compelling content, and a collaborative mindset. Experience in B2B industries is required, with a background in e-commerce, retail, or supply chain preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help develop and implement a detailed social media strategy aligned with marketing goals and target audience needs.
  • Create and share engaging, on-brand content (posts, videos, images) across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Manage social media communities by monitoring channels, responding to customer inquiries promptly via comments, messages or mentions, and fostering positive interactions with followers. This will include collaborating with our internal teams, such as Customer Experience, Business Development, and others. 
  • Use social media monitoring tools to track industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant conversations to identify opportunities and issues.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid ads and influencer collaborations, to achieve lead generation and sales goals.
  • Regularly analyze KPIs such as reach, engagement, and conversions, using data to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Stay informed on the latest social media platform features and trends, adjusting strategies for optimization.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Social Media Marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience creating content and managing campaigns on social media (earned and paid).
  • Strong B2B experience, including working with both enterprise and SMB audiences.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a talent for creating engaging and educational content.
  • Proficiency in social media monitoring tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social) and analytics dashboards.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles, SEO, and paid advertising.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or supply chain industries preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

 

The pay rate for this role will range between $65,000 to $75,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
