Who we seek:
As both a client-facing and internal Technical Content Developer, you will collaborate with technical trainers, enablement, product, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design engaging and effective training content to be delivered through both the BigID University eLearning platform and our internal enablement function. Additionally, you will maintain the existing library of product-related training content, advance internal and external knowledge initiatives, help drive adoption of BigID’s technology within enterprise customers, and help manage the certification program. You will also manage and leverage various training systems to schedule, track, and support all educational activities.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in training delivery, engineering, or customer success in addition to content development experience.

What you’ll do:
As a Technical Content Developer you will:
- Collaborate with the technical trainers, enablement, sales, product and engineering teams to design and produce new eLearning content (videos, interactive presentations, exercise labs, and other interactive training offerings), emphasizing clarity, quality, and engagement.
- Work closely with the training team, subject matter experts, product and engineering teams to enhance and improve existing content and develop new training content.
- Contribute to and enhance internal and external knowledge assets like the technical knowledge base, technical documentation, technical blogs, and white papers.
- Assist with training discovery and planning calls with customers and prospects for course tailoring tasks as relevant.
- Review and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of training content, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years technical content writing experience, including static slides and hands-on exercises.
- 2+ years of professional experience in information technology, ideally in a customer-facing hands-on role involving professional services, consulting, customer success or product implementation.
- 2+ years technical training delivery or in-person and/or online teaching experience.
- Experience with modern eLearning tools and approaches including video authoring, audio editing and narration, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure), databases (Oracle/MySQL), enterprise applications (Salesforce/SAP).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable experience as an eLearning Designer, Instructional Designer, or Curriculum Developer in an industry domain.
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise security products such as DLP, IAM, PIM, etc.
- Software development or other technical background.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Instructional Design, or other related technical discipline (professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree).
