Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Jiva Implementation
Location: Remote, must work PST hours
Job Type: Full-time, ASAP Start
Duration: 10 months


Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of Jiva, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and experience in managing complex healthcare technology implementations. This role will require cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning to drive successful project outcomes.
 
What You Will Do:
  • Lead end-to-end Jiva implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics while ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to design and implement Jiva solutions that meet operational and technical requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, risks, and timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee system integration, data migration, user training, and change management activities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with Jiva implementation.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Communicate project updates, progress, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security, and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project management methodologies.
 
You Will Be Successful If:
  • Expertise in managing a diverse range of projects, including new product or service launches, large-scale application development and implementation, system integrations, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) arrangements, operational efficiency enhancements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both business and technology executives.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Capable of seamlessly integrating into an ongoing project and assuming delivery responsibilities within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Comfortable taking a hands-on approach across various project phases to ensure successful delivery.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience in healthcare technology implementations.
  • Strong experience with Jiva implementation, configuration, and integration.
  • Expertise in managing enterprise software implementations, system integrations, and data migrations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, compliance (HIPAA), and industry standards.
  • PMP and Jiva certifications highly desired.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with healthcare payer/provider systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and data analytics related to Jiva.
  • Familiarity with EHR, claims management, and utilization management systems.
  • Familiarity with ClicBank and Joint Configuration Manager Tool.
  • Experience with workflow development tools such as Visio.
