Job description

Precise is seeking a BizTalk Solution Engineer that will be responsible for all aspects of BizTalk application technical support services.  Will be supporting government contract.  Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain a public trust clearance. 

BizTalk Solution Engineer

The BizTalk Solution Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of BizTalk application technical support services to include:

  • Meeting with customers to determine business needs and requirements.
  • Maintain all BizTalk environments and supporting all existing BizTalk-based data integration processes.
  • Design, test, and implement BizTalk integration solutions based on requirements provided by the business.
  • Maintaining high-availability two dual-node instances of BizTalk Server Production and UAT environments.
  • Maintaining and configuration of a single production-ready BizTalk server instance.
  • Maintaining two single-node instances of BizTalk Server in Test and Development environments.
  • Plan, prepare and upgrade BizTalk services including migrating to new versions or hosting platforms. This includes following the customers’ configuration change management processes. 
  • Restore all production BizTalk applications to full operational capacity in case of unexpected outage.
  • Adheres to established project plans and timelines

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in design, development and support of an Enterprise Biztalk solution. Including EDI:X12, EDIFACT, XML, XSLT, AS2 and SFTP transport mechanisms.
  • Experience with BizTalk, as well as .Net, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar tools for connecting data sources
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools a plus.
  • Degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience a plus
