About The Role

Location: Remote based in (Portugal)
Terms: Permanente Contract / Full-Time 40h weekly
Salary:  Annual Gross 23,000 - 25,000 DOE Euros (inclusive of 2 holidays Allowances)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 


ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist with 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees seeking support, providing a friendly and approachable presence.  

 

As an HR Generalist, you will assist in various administrative tasks, from maintaining our HR system to helping coordinate employee medical examinations. You will play a key role in preparing reports and supporting learning and development initiatives, making a real impact on our team’s growth and success. 


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Employee Support: 

 

  • Managing general inquiries and providing HR administrative support via the ticketing system, ensuring requests are addressed and redirected as needed.

 

Administrative Support: 

 

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with legal standards.
  • Maintain HR files and documentation, helping to keep employee information accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting in the preparation of employee certifications as required.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.
  • Assist in the organisation of occupational health examinations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Help organise administrative processes related to HR matters, including training.

 

Compliance and Reporting: 

 

  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics.
  • Support the collection and updating of necessary documents for compliance with labour legislation. 

 

Learning and Development Administration: 

 

  • Support the coordination of training and development activities, assisting in the administration of training sessions.

 

 

HR Data Analysis and Reporting: 

 

  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.


Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR qualifications or knowledge is essential, but Business or Administrative qualifications combined with HR knowledge (acquired through team management, for example) will also be considered.
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in administrative roles within Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of employment law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding support.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems. 
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
