This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  •  20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 9AM to 5PM Columbia, Canada Time

Job Description

Embark on an exciting opportunity as an Appointment Setter in the thriving financial services sector. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between our client’s innovative educational savings products and families looking to secure their children’s futures. You’ll leverage your exceptional communication skills to engage with new parents, primarily mothers, introducing them to the benefits of RESPs and other financial planning tools. This position offers a unique blend of sales, customer service, and financial education, allowing you to make a real difference in people’s lives while growing your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, focusing on lead generation and appointment setting for financial advisors
  • Manage inbound calls professionally, handling appointment rescheduling and rebooking with a customer-first approach
  • Efficiently navigate and update two distinct CRM systems to maintain accurate client records
  • Seamlessly switch between different business lines throughout the day, demonstrating versatility and adaptability
  • Perform strategic follow-ups to nurture leads and maintain a warm, professional demeanor on all calls
  • Reach out to existing clients for check-ins, identifying additional needs and opportunities for expanded services
  • Meet and exceed weekly targets for booked and held appointments, contributing directly to the company’s growth
  • Collaborate with the team to refine processes and improve conversion rates, sharing insights from client interactions
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a neutral English accent, capable of building rapport quickly over the phone
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
  • Prior experience in cold calling, lead generation, and appointment setting, preferably in financial services or a related field
  • Strong multitasking abilities and comfort with switching between different business contexts throughout the workday
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a talent for explaining complex financial products in simple terms
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Basic understanding of financial products, especially education savings plans (RESPs), or a willingness to learn quickly
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, results-driven environment with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records across multiple platforms
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience using Asana to track and manage tasks.
