The position of Sales Operations and Support is responsible for contributing to Forwood’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth targets globally through being an integral contributor to the Global Sales Team.
This role will require an organised individual, to provide global executive support to the Global Head of Sales, assistance to the Sales Executives to ensure alignment and fulfilment to the Sales Processes and Procedures, and provide sales support to the Sales Executives.
This is a critical role within the organisation, to contribute and assist the sales team towards driving our growth globally and will provide a great opportunity for the right person to make their mark with a leading edge safety SaaS company.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver to the Sales Operational requirements of the role, including, one on one meetings with Sales Executives to improve their forecasting; reporting on leads and progress for visibility; executive reporting; readiness of Board, leadership and operational presentations on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly basis; tracking and assistance with the measuring of the Strategic Objectives.
- Consistently deliver to the Executive support requirements of the role, through diary management, and ensuring delivery to priorities, expectations, requests, and other important deliverables of the Global Leader.
- Develop and keep up to date reach out databases to assist the sales executives identify and qualify target customers and key personnel.
- Provide support to the Sales Executives where required to facilitate meetings, introductions and reach outs with target customers.
- Work with the sales team and leadership to ensure the up to date management of customer data input into the customer relationship management solution and assist with reporting from that solution.
- Assist the Sales Executives and Global Leader with executive and customer presentation decks.
- Undertake market research to assist with our data input into the customer relationship management solution.
- Assist the Sales Executives and Global Leader with preparation of customer proposals and contracts for review.
- Collaborate across the Sales Team and other Forwood Groups on implementation and followup to sales initiatives.
- Train and ensure adherence to the company sales processes.
- Work effectively within a high performing, cross functional, engaged team to deliver on personal objectives and to ensure all members of the Sales Team and Global Leader meets their objectives and deliverables.
Knowledge and Skills
- Exposure to SaaS solutions and high risk industries, such as mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, energy etc (would be advantageous).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation.
- Understanding of the sales components – continuously strive to improve and impart that knowledge and keep up to date.
- Demonstrated the ability to provide excellent support in either an Executive Assistant or Sales Support role, with a deep understanding of sales operational processes and procedures within a SaaS organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting

- Adhering to Forwood’s values.
- On-time delivery and ongoing accuracy of Global Leader’s business, operational and financial reports and presentations.
- Assistance and support with time management, deliverables, and scheduling of meetings for the Global Leader.
- Enabling Sales Executives to deliver on Quarterly Sales Targets through providing sales support.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to show and have had experienced working with senior sales leaders and their sales teams.
Specifically demonstrate that you are:
- Highly self-motivated and can operate working remotely.
- Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed global team but also independently.
- A senior Executive Assistant that can provide executive support to the Global Leader and their team.
- Experience in working with successful sales executives to provide them the support necessary for them to deliver on-time the requirements of the Group’s Sales Processes and Procedures.
- Provide sales related support to these same sales executives to assist in customer reachouts and acquisitions.
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and remotely.
- Cooperation: work with others in a friendly, cooperative manner and inspire others to collaborate.
- Initiative: show initiative – be proactive and a self-starter and work with minimum direction. Must have the desire and the ability to develop constructive ideas.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Essential
- 3+ years in SaaS sales organisations, with specific experience in operational and Executive Assistant roles
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and mediation skills at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to align objectives and initiatives within the company values and vision
- Willingness to support sales executives as part of the support of the Group
Preferred
- Experience in health and safety would be advantageous.
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language would be a major advantage to address Sth American markets
