Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced platform agnostic Technical Architect Manager to lead and manage a team of talented architects responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud solutions in Salesforce, Mulesoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform and Pega. In this role, you will collaborate with other technical leaders, provide strategic enterprise architectural guidance, and ensure alignment between business objectives and governance best practices. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of both existing and future LCNC applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions are delivered. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Architectural Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional technical leaders to provide architectural and technical guidance for various applications and service delivery, including platforms, middleware, third-party services, and databases. 
  • Salesforce Strategy Development: Implement and continuously refine  Org/Tenant strategies in key domains such as Enterprise Software Architecture, Mobile Architecture, Integration Architecture, Development Lifecycle and Deployment, and Data Architecture. 
  • Service Delivery & Functional Capabilities: Define and manage production end-to-end services, functional capabilities, and business outcomes delivered on the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business needs. 
  • Security & Compliance: Partner with security and risk teams to implement process changes ensuring compliance with privacy policies, security audits, and certifications. 
  • Research & Innovation: Research upcoming vendor version changes and provide strategic recommendations to enhance productivity and system capabilities. 
  • Third-party Integration: Identify and recommend third-party products or applications, determining when it’s appropriate to integrate or enhance the Salesforce platform. 
  • Technical Evaluation: Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection, ensuring a coherent and scalable systems design approach for all architectural solutions. 
  • Strategic Direction: Integrate business strategy with software capabilities to guide the direction of all products, ensuring that architecture aligns with long-term organizational goals. 
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Support the documentation of architecture deliverables that align with best practices, methodologies, and architectural standards. 
  • Technical Design Leadership: Lead and facilitate technical design sessions with development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, and detailed design specifications to ensure architecture standards are followed. 
  • Collaboration & Code Reviews: Guide technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams, and collaborate with the development team to perform code reviews, ensuring alignment with pre-defined architectural guidelines and design principles. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education & Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, with at least 3-5 years of experience managing teams of architects. 
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across various domains (e.g., Integration, Data, Security, etc.). 
  • Skills & Expertise: 
  • Deep understanding of architecture, including applications, middleware, and integrations with third-party platforms. 
  • Strong experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies, particularly in Agile and DevOps environments. 
  • Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications. 
  • Familiarity with application security frameworks and compliance standards  
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to guide teams through complex architectural challenges. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Preferred: 
  • Certifications in multiple platforms  
  • Experience with integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications. 
  • Knowledge of mobile architecture and platforms is a plus.
