HOW A FINANCE SUPERVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Performs analysis and administration of financial systems and applications
  • Collects and analyzes end-user requirements to understand and document requirements and workflows
  • Conducts gap analysis to highlight current and future client needs
  • Performs systems process improvements to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy, and performance of financial systems
  • Performs system upgrades and other implementations as needed
  • Updates and modifies training materials and communicates system changes to end users
  •  Performs related finance and accounting tasks as required
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • Ability to prioritize whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, reconciliation
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, reports, and administrative reporting.
  • May perform high-level technical services on assigned task(s).
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to staff on task workload.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary customer liaison.
  • Coordinates IT development of deliverables and products in conjunction with Joint Billing council activities.
  • The Billing Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. You will lead a high-performing team, manage relationships with external users, and implement process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with deep expertise in billing operations in a government contractor environment.
  • Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with customers or external audit teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments (AR, Compliance, GL, Project Cost) to ensure accurate billing
  • Weekend and month-end processing support, including 4-5 weekends per year and 1 month-end.



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and 5 + years related experience
  • In lieu of degree, 9 yrs of related experience is required
  • Experience with Government Contracting
  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics, Oracle Contracts
  • Proven leadership skills in a similar position
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, specifically Excel formulas
  • Analytical skills; ability to solve problems with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Service-oriented person with strong financial acumen
  • US Person required

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $95,048. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
