Job description

We’re defining what it means to build and deliver the most extraordinary sports and entertainment experiences. Our global team is trailblazing new markets, developing cutting-edge products, and shaping the future of responsible gaming.

Here, “impossible” isn’t part of our vocabulary. You’ll face some of the toughest but most rewarding challenges of your career. They’re worth it. Channeling your inner grit will accelerate your growth, help us win as a team, and create unforgettable moments for our customers.

The Crown Is Yours

As a .NET Engineer, you’ll shape the future of sports entertainment at DraftKings. In the SportsCore department, you’ll be at the heart of our solution—adapting and enriching complex sports data to fuel our systems. Working with a tech stack that includes Kafka, RabbitMQ, MS SQL Server, .NET Core, Kubernetes, and more, you’ll tackle challenging problems to ensure real-time, high-performance data processing with high uptime.

What you’ll do as a .NET Developer
  • Contribute across all development stages, from architectural design to implementation, in building features that captivate our users.

  • Ensure high-quality software development by rigorously testing for reliability and performance, maintaining the highest standards of code integrity and scalability.

  • Design and implement solutions that are not only high-performing but also resilient to failures, capable of handling real-time data processing with minimal latency, ensuring an uninterrupted user experience.

  • Craft performance-driven code, bolstered by comprehensive unit and automated integration tests, ensuring our applications run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Embrace agile methodologies to meet evolving project needs swiftly, adapting to changes with agility and precision.

What you’ll bring
  • A foundation of 3 years in C# and .NET Core, or the drive to quickly master them if you're less experienced.

  • A base knowledge of OOP, multithreading and asynchronous programming.

  • Experience with K8s, Docker, ELK, Kafka, Grafana, non-relational databases would be great, but if you don't, that's ok, you will be able to learn lots of new cool technologies.

  • Eagerness to grow rapidly in a collaborative, innovative environment.
