Senior UX Designer

• 50% work from home – 50% work at the office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

We’re looking for a collaborative designer who loves tackling complex design challenges and pushing the boundaries of user experience. In this role, you’ll create smart, user-friendly designs that meet both user needs and business objectives. You’ll play a key role in shaping our product design vision, improving processes, and mentoring fellow designers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including Research, UX Design, Content Design, Business, and Development.
• Your responsibilities will include contributing to concept direction and development, discovering solution opportunities, and defining design rationales, specifically for our sales foundations team.
• You’ll work across all stages of the design process, from user research and ideation to final visual design and implementation support.
• As an advocate for user experience at ING, you’ll promote the value of design, increase engagement, and clearly communicate research findings and design ideas.
• You’ll mentor junior designers and provide feedback, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment."

• At least 8 years of experience in a digital design role.
• Strong knowledge of UX, information architecture, prototyping, Ux research (think usability testing, a/b testing) and user-centered design principles.
• Proactive approach to design, with the ability to ask critical questions and base your design on data.
• Expertise in Figma.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Bonus points: Experience in the finance sector, and the Dutch language.
