Job description

Job Profile:

As a Principal Product Manager focused on the booking flow, you will lead the development and optimization of our end-to-end booking process, ensuring it is seamless, user-friendly, and conversion-driven. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and customer support teams to enhance the booking journey and drive key business outcomes. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution skills to deliver a world-class booking experience.

This role requires a candidate to be based in an Eastern Time Zone. 

Your Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Development

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the booking flow, aligning with broader business objectives and user needs.
  • Lead the ideation and prioritization of new booking features, improvements, and optimizations based on customer insights, competitive analysis, and data.

Customer-Centric Product Design

  • Drive a user-centered approach to product design, ensuring each step in the booking process is intuitive, efficient, and meets diverse user requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to create and test mockups, prototypes, and designs, iterating based on feedback and testing.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze and interpret data to understand booking flow performance, conversion metrics, drop-off points, and other critical KPIs.
  • Use insights to identify opportunities for optimization and A/B testing to continually improve the booking experience and increase conversion rates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality booking flow features on time and within scope, balancing technical constraints with business requirements.
  • Work with marketing and customer service teams to ensure that booking updates align with promotional activities and user support.

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment

  • Serve as the key point of contact for all booking flow initiatives, communicating project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across teams and drive adoption of new booking features, providing insights into the impact of changes.

Industry Trends & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive developments in the booking and e-commerce spaces, integrating insights into product strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and best practices with internal teams.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focusing on e-commerce, booking flows, or a related domain.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of product development, agile methodologies, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Mindset: User-focused and results-oriented, with a passion for building intuitive and efficient booking experiences.

This position is paying between $160,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
