About your role
Juniper Square is seeking a high-achieving, New York-based sales leader to take the helm of our rapidly growing private equity sales effort. In this role, you will lead a team of world-class account executives, selling fund administration and software solutions to private equity GPs, ranging from emerging to institutional managers. You will be instrumental in developing the team’s talent, creating a winning culture, and refining the playbook for how account executives build relationships with investment managers. This role will work closely with sales, marketing, and executive leadership on overall GTM strategy in private equity, making this an exciting opportunity to lead the charge on expanding Juniper Square’s leading position across private markets.
What you’ll do
Lead a team of quota-carrying Account Executives, selling fund administration and software solutions to private equity GPs
Cultivate a high-performance sales culture, motivating your team to exceed individual, team, and company targets
Develop career advancement strategies for top performers and ensure succession planning for the sales organization
Deeply understand Juniper Square’s solution set and the customer outcomes they drive
Maintain a deep connection to the private equity industry, extending your team’s network by fostering your own relationships and having a presence in the field, including at industry events and conferences
Oversee the entire sales cycle, coaching your team on deal strategy and enhancing team members’ sales acumen
Coach your team on the nuances of private equity managers, helping them build credibility and develop relationships with GP finance executives (CFOs, Controllers, etc.)
Collaborate with Marketing to drive demand generation and refine sales collateral and solution positioning
Stay abreast of shifts in the competitive landscape, providing sales insights to product family General Managers
Maintain a deep understanding of private equity industry trends and how they impact customer needs now and in the future
Forecast team performance, providing clear reporting and actionable insight to executive management
Qualifications
Extensive experience in fund administration business development
Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships at the executive level
Desire to support a highly networked, channel-drive sales motion, through your own network and presence in the field
Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures, accounting principles, and industry best practices
Exceptional leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading successful sales teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in Salesforce
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Compensation
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable. Benefits include:
