We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team.
We're looking for someone with strong UX/UI design experience to help develop our enterprise dashboards and retail apps. You should have a passion for design and the ability to create engaging visual content for our marketing initiatives. This is a versatile role that requires flexibility in collaborating with both product and marketing teams. As our first in-house designer, you'll help lay the foundation for our growing design team while handling both product and marketing design responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Own the design processes end-to-end for new products and features in close collaboration with product managers
Build and maintain a future-proof design system for Kiln products
Maintain design file integrity and ensure alignment with production applications
Work independently and collaboratively with Product and Marketing teams on experiences, campaigns, graphic concepts, assets, and visual treatments
Create UI mockups and click-through demos with the Product Team
Assist the marketing team with new product launches, technical reports, infographics, marketing campaigns and event designs (see example)
Champion design excellence, elevate our design standards, and inspire a culture of exceptional, user-centric design across Kiln
Requirements
3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, creating and shipping digital products for web and mobile
Strong portfolio demonstrating your identity, expertise, and work process
Expertise in Figma, PowerPoint/Keynote, Illustrator, and image editing software such as Photoshop
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Experience with prototyping to explore and communicate design solutions
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Experience in graphic design and visual content creation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfort with fast-paced, iterative product development
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with the crypto industry (staking, DeFi, portfolio, wallets)
Experience in motion design and animations
