What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Product Owner facilitates the development of valuable technical products that meet the needs of Jamf customers and deliver toward the technical strategy of our product portfolio. They play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technical development. They work closely with Product Managers (PM, Technical) and engineering teams to turn roadmap initiatives into backlog items, prioritize the backlog based on business and customer needs, and deliver new product features to the market. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.  

 

Area of Ownership:  

Cloud Infrastructure & Developer Experience 

 

This role is remote in Poland. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland. 

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Cooperates closely with Product Manager of the Infrastructure to understand and impact the long-term roadmap.
  • Helps facilitate quarterly planning and objective setting for their teams.
  • Identifies and manages cross-team dependencies.
  • Identifies, communicates and mitigates risks to product development plans.
  • Works closely with other Product Onwers and development teams to understand and refine technical requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and engineering teams to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Participates actively in technical discussions related to cloud infrastructure and development.
  • Ensures backlog transparency and maintains clear prioritization through effective use of Jira.
  • Makes informed decisions about Sprint scope and priorities.
  • Encourages and facilitates product demos and gathers feedback from stakeholders.
  • Participates in Scrum ceremonies and events.
  • Works closely with Engineering team(s) on day-to-day refinement of Product backlog.

 

What we are looking for: 

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with, leading, and motivating technical teams. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant Technical Product Owner experience or Product Owner experience with responsibilities leading Technical solutions, with a demonstrated track record of delivering quality technical products. 
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes.
  • Ability to understand and engage in technical discussions related to Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Jira and other Atlassian tools.
  • Fluency in English. 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Previous exposure to product management or technical product owner responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of Cloud technologies (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Experience working with distributed/remote or international teams.
  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
