PublicRelay is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Reporting & Analytics Specialist (RAS) to join our team. As an RAS, you’ll help bring our data to life by providing actionable insights to our clients to help guide their communications strategies. In addition to working on scheduled reports, the RAS team also handles ad-hoc requests from our clients and collaborates with our Strategic Partnerships team to answer our clients’ most complex questions using data. You’ll also be collaborating with our analyst team to ensure our data aligns with client goals as well as our Data Visualization team to help display our data in a visually compelling manner.

A successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills to understand our clients’ needs and goals and decipher our data in a way that helps them achieve their targets. They must also have strong interpersonal skills which allow them to build relationships with their clients and internal teams.

This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize & develop report design and strategy
  • Identify key concepts in concepts in client media and design “Tagging Structures” that support client reporting needs
  • Create insights and prescriptive narratives to assist clients with their communication strategy
  • Execute on all scheduled and ad hoc client requests
  • Responsible for the setup of story and article alerts
  • Setup advanced metrics
  • Support the Operations team with other aspects of the business, including recruitment, technology testing/ideation, and more

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytically rigorous area of study
  • 3+ years of experience in analysis, reporting, or other related field, preferably in media/communications
  • Experience working with data visualizations (Tableau is a plus)
  • Customer service-oriented and able to interact with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong operational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once under tight deadlines
