Role Overview

The Lead Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure. This role requires strategic planning, execution of cloud projects, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design cloud-based architectures aligned with business needs and objectives.
Define cloud strategies and roadmaps to drive digital transformation.
Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
Optimize cloud environments for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Collaborate with development teams to define best practices for cloud adoption.
Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Key Skills & Experience

+8 years of experience in similar roles.
Extensive expertise with Azure cloud services.
Strong experience with networking, security, and cloud governance.
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Experience in cloud cost optimization and resource management.
Proven ability to lead cloud transformation projects.
