The Role:
We are seeking a Sr. PHP Developer to join our team and help drive the development of cutting-edge digital products. You’ll work closely with engineers to design and implement new features that engage millions of users. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust web applications, primarily using PHP and Laravel, while ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize back-end PHP applications using Laravel.
Work closely with engineers to design and implement new features.
Build scalable RESTful APIs that serve millions of users.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate with back-end services.
Work with jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Ensure product quality by enforcing best practices and leveraging unit testing and continuous integration.
Conduct code reviews, coordinate releases and deploy services to AWS.
Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance development workflows and product quality.

Required Skills

Advanced knowledge of PHP (3y+ or equivalent).
Advanced knowledge of a modern PHP framework - Laravel preferred.
Familiarity with jQuery.
Intermediate knowledge of RDS (MySQL or Postgres) and data modeling.
Experience writing unit tests.
Experience deploying to AWS.
Proficiency using terminal and linux commands.

Nice to Have

Experience with Vue.js.
Familiarity with Zend framework.
Familiarity with Bootstrap.
Experience with containerization.
