As a 1099 Liaison/Supervisor, you will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. In this role, you will be required to manage the day-to-day caseload for the members of our DHS and Intel 1099 investigator community and ensure their work is completed promptly and accurately. You will be responsible for the team’s achievement of established metrics and for any remaining administrative duties to include, but not limited to, onboarding, payment invoicing, and TDY coordination. Responsibilities:
Coverage Locations: Nationwide
Responsible for managing 1099 day-to-day job functions to include but not limited to the following:
Assist with case assignments, to include TDY coordination
Case updates
Lead or participate in meetings as necessary
Maintain Production Stats for your team
Quality / Timeliness / Production
Report on any security or disciplinary related concerns
Administrative duties to include onboarding and invoicing
Must have the ability to mentor newer or struggling investigators
Requires extensive knowledge and experience in relation to the background investigator role to include general knowledge of the FIS and customer requirements
Ensure programmatic and customer policies and procedures are understood and followed by the 1099 investigators
Minimum Requirements:
Must obtain approval by DHS and Intel customers
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related and/or military experience
Must have active investigator credentials (DHS and Intel preferred)
Minimum of five years working in the federal background investigation industry
Must be able to work under minimal supervision utilizing a home-based office or corporate facility
