Currently, we are seeking a Data Foundry Developer to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for: 
 
Position Title: Data Foundry Developer
 
Location: Remote (LATAM)
 
What you will be doing:
 
As a Data Foundry Developer you will be implementing interactive workflow UIs and data visualizations using Foundry Tools and Power BI. The candidate will also develop and maintain data pipelines with PySpark, collaborating with the Data Engineering Team to support data integration and end-to-end pipeline development. Additionally, the role supports high-scale, data-intensive workflow design and requires testing and quality assurance tasks, including data validation, unit test creation, debugging, and resolving issues related to data quality and staleness. The candidate must ensure software quality through testing and provide ongoing application maintenance as requirements evolve.
  • Implement operational applications using Foundry Tools (Workshop, Quiver, and Slate).    
  • Implement data visualizations using Foundry Tools and/or Power BI.
  • Maintain applications as usage grows and requirements change.
  • Develop data pipelines using PySpark to create datasets and User Interface applications.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering Team to understand the ontology and data pipelines.
  • Support data pipeline development using Python and PySpark for ETL processes.
  • Support designing and building high-scale data-intensive workflows.
  • Perform data validations and analysis, and create unit tests using PyTest.
  • Implement Foundry Expectations for automated validations and monitor data quality.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
  • Debug and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Full-stack development knowledge, including both frontend and backend components.
  • Strong experience in data pipeline development using Python/PySpark.
  • Working experience with Palantir Foundry and tools like Workshop, Quiver, and Slate.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Foundry and Power BI).
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across different time zones.
Nice to Haves:
  • Master’s Degree in Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated work experience supporting Federal Civilian, State and Local Government, or Energy Provider clients.
  • Ability to support business development including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses involving data science/analytics/data engineering.
