SENIOR POWER BI DEVELOPER - REMOTE

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating Power BI dashboards, Power BI paginated reports, Power BI SSRS data models, and cubes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to help our organization make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Create and manage Power BI paginated reports.

• Develop and maintain Power BI SSRS data models and cubes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights.

• Optimize and improve existing BI solutions for better performance and usability.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all BI solutions.

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and business intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 - 8 years of experience in Power BI development.

• Proficiency in creating Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Experience with Power BI paginated reports.

• Strong knowledge of Power BI SSRS data models and cubes.

• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Data Modeling:

• Design and develop robust data models using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools.

• Ensure data model scalability, flexibility, and adherence to best practices.

DAX Development:

• Create and optimize Power Queries and DAX expressions to enhance data models and reports.

Data Integration:

• Integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

Reporting:

• Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, DAX formulas, and reporting processes.
