A Microsoft-centric Managed Services Provider that propels businesses into the digital age, with a global clientele and a diverse team distributed across various geographies, is looking for a skilled IT Project Manager focused on Azure or Microsoft Modern Workplace to join its growing team.
As the IT Project Manager, your dual responsibility is to manage both the coordination of projects and the technical execution. You will ensure that all IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest standards. You will also take a hands-on approach to technical tasks, ensuring smooth execution from planning through delivery. This role requires a strong balance of leadership in managing teams, vendors, and client expectations while also possessing the technical expertise to oversee the engineering aspects of projects.

What You'll Do
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of IT projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and tracking progress.
Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Monitor overall quality control on the project’s work, including adherence to budget, timelines, and deliverables.
Collaborate with team members, offering technical assistance and ensuring that engineering efforts align with project goals.
Conduct risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential project risks.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and project transparency.
Handle ITSM ticket systems, including Change Management, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
Perform technical tasks related to network administration, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), O365 suite, security protocols, Windows/Linux servers, and virtual environments.
Ensure project documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and updated, including technical designs and reports.
What You Need
Proven experience as both a project manager and a technical engineer in IT projects.
Strong understanding or hands-on experience in Networks, Cloud (Azure/AWS), O365, Windows/Linux server administration, and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring timely submission of timesheets and tracking of project work.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering clear insights and technical support when needed.
Experience working with ITSM systems for Change Management and Incident Management.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
Desirable: Experience with Meraki, Cisco, Unifi Networks, VMware, Hyper-V, and Active Directory services.
