Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be part of our VersIC team, providing QA and development for our  Versic/Virtuoso, VersIC/CustomCompiler and VersIC/ADS products. These are Linux based GUI tools which provide an integration between Perforce VCS/IPLM products and analogue design tools used in the semiconductor industry. 

You will be expected to be able to design and build automated tests, perform exploratory testing, and also take part in product development. This is a small team, so though the initial emphasis will be on QA, all roles are expected to be multi-functional. 

Helix IPLM is a comprehensive intellectual property lifecycle management platform that accelerates semiconductor design. IPLM enables efficient IP reuse, streamlines workspace management, and provides traceability from requirements through verification. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide QA and development for VersIC/Virtuoso, VersIC/CustomCompiler and VersIC/ADS 
  • Design and build an automated testing environment for Linux based GUI tools. 
  • Work with Support team to resolve customer issues with VersIC 
  • Work with Product team to define/implement roadmap for VersIC variants 
  • Work with Documentation team to keep VersIC documentation updated 
  • Work with EDA Vendors to ensure continued compatibility with their products 
  • Coordinate with the Helix Engineering team 
  • Coordinate with the IPLM Engineering team 
  • Support the Solutions team with VersIC-related requirements 

  • Requirements:
  • Experience with Squish and Qt 
  • Experience with C, C++, Tcl 
  • Development experience on and knowledge of Linux operating systems 
  • Knowledge of and experience with SCM tools (Git, Perforce, Subversion) 
  • 3+ years of engineering experience with concentration on QA 
  • Experience with SKILL, Cadence Virtuoso, and/or Electronic Design Automation tools and methodologies would be beneficial. 
  • Experience building intuitive user interfaces
