Manager of Institutional Research and Analytics

Role: Manager of Institutional Research and Analytics  

Location: Remote 

MAIN FUNCTION 

The Manager of Institutional Research and Analytics is responsible for overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting to fulfill accreditation and licensing requirements, meet external agency mandates, and support institutional decision-making, compliance, and strategic planning. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate data management and reporting to enhance institutional effectiveness and student success. 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Institutional Research, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, institutional research, or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with SQL and database management and project management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working in a data analyst role within higher education is preferrable.
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics applications.
• Knowledge of student success metrics and assessment methodologies.
