Job description

This position is remote, overseeing locations throughout the east/southeast coast.

Job Summary   

The primary purpose of the Regional Director of Admissions (RDOA) position is to provide leadership and support to a group of career education campuses and their respective admissions teams.  The RDOA will demonstrate its ability to improve the results of admissions teams, operate efficiently across multiple sites, and maintain standardization and metric outcomes to assure quality and operational efficiency.  Additionally, demonstrate their ability to train others to process delivery expectations, possess excellent communication skills in small and large group settings, and have experience that demonstrates successful managerial skills and supervisory skills.  The Regional Director of Admissions may be required to travel up to 75% of their time, while a portion of this travel will include overnight stays and a portion will be day travel with no overnight stay required. 

Experience Required 
  • Degree preferred. High School Diploma or  GED required

  • Minimum of 3 years experience successfully managing admissions teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field experience preferred 

  • 5 years of management experience with career schools

  • Previous experience in a multi-unit Sales Manager or Director of Admissions position


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent people management skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate employees

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong knowledge and functionality of Google Suite

  • Verifiable ability to work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to have a flexible work and travel schedule

  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities

  • Ability to travel 75%

Key Responsibilities 
  • Support campus efforts and effectively deliver quality customer service to prospective students

  • Assist Executive Directors in the process of hiring, training, and developing Admissions Coordinators

  • Follow all company, state, accreditor, and US DOE accreditation compliance regulations, processes, and policies  

  • Provide tactical guidance, assistance, and leadership to ensure new student satisfaction during the admissions process

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all paperwork and reports

  • Randomly audit enrollment files to ensure accountability/accuracy of documents 

  • Collaboratively participate in employee performance evaluations and scheduled performance reviews

  • Other duties as assigned
