We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who can not only design intuitive solutions but also build strong relationships with our French customers. You will be deeply involved in understanding the real problems users face and translating them into exceptional product experiences.

This role can be hybrid within the UK or Europe, with quarterly trips to our London office. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates outside these locations at this stage. 

What you will be doing 

Our customers use Semble all day, every day, so it’s essential for us to craft a user experience that makes their day-to-day tasks effortless. As an established market leader, we place a strong focus on making our product stand out from the rest, now with an exciting opportunity to expand into the French market. 

At Semble, we champion user-centric design practices, ensuring they are embedded in every stage of the design and delivery process. In this role, you’ll focus on building strong relationships with our French users through research programs, testing, and occasional on-site visits. You’ll map out their workflows and compare them to existing UK workflows, crafting smart, strategic solutions that meet the needs of both markets. By understanding their challenges firsthand, you’ll turn these insights into effective and impactful design solutions. 

Day-to-day, you’ll be leading the design process for the Data Analytics and Payment experiences, primarily working on areas such as data dashboards and billing flows. Your primary goal will be to make the overall usage of Semble more efficient, automating tasks wherever possible and saving our users time. You’ll collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams (software engineering, product management, testing, delivery), creating beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible workflows that deliver a seamless experience across borders. 

What we are looking for 

We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can help shape our platform. You’ll work alongside a design team of 3 (Head of Design and 2 Product Designers) and take ownership of 2 teams. We’re small, but efficient, so we need a self-starter who is motivated and highly organised. 

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer 

• 2+ years designing for B2B SaaS  

Key skills: 

• You are a fluent French speaker 

• You enjoy understanding the real problems users are experiencing  

• You have a track record building strong relationships with users, customers and prospects 

• You turn insights into compelling narratives 

• You align teams toward common goals 

• You thrive with the freedom to shape your own processes 

• Your portfolio showcases beautiful, accessible, user-friendly interfaces 

• You have collaborated with engineers to deliver features for mobile and desktop 

Competencies: 

• You naturally think about the big picture 

• You have a background in User Experience and User Research 

• You are an expert in Figma   

• You have worked with design systems 

Nice to have: 

• You understand the French healthcare system 

• You have experience launching products in new markets 

• You have experience designing data dashboards or automation workflows
