The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Advanced Software Quality Engineer role will use his/her software skills and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework, Web Development, Cloud, Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, and Python to test world-class, industry-leading solutions for the healthcare industry.
- Work within an Agile framework (Scrum) to iteratively test and refine commercial enterprise software
- Work with software and test engineers to develop test cases and scenarios, integration tests, unit & functional tests
- Apply test automation expertise to streamline testing of application components
- Work closely with the team to ensure that application features pass the established acceptance criteria and that a baseline release quality is achieved
- Work closely with the team to address client escalations and provide quick turn-around time for client-escalated issues
- Test software solutions by studying systems workflows, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas; follow Agile (Scrum) framework
- Work with software engineering teams to test the functional workflow of applications
- Understand automation technology
- Develop test automation scripts and demonstrate progress from sprint to sprint
- Test the product in controlled test environments
- Set up, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain test systems
- Support client issues directly or indirectly via 3M HIS Client Support team

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field AND Minimum 3 combined years of experience developing commercial client and/or server applications
OR
High School Diploma AND Minimum 5 combined years of experience developing commercial client and/or server applications
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience developing and delivering commercial enterprise software
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with C#
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Solid understanding of software automation principles and tools
- Proficiency in Transact-SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Familiarity with SOA Architecture and cloud computing
- Experience with Angular applications

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
