Job Description

Candidates from the Guadalajara and Jalisco metropolitan area will be prioritized due to geographical buisness needs.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will ensure laboratories operate efficiently by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cutting-edge instrumentation. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and optimize Agilent and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, and networking components.

  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to enhance system reliability.

  • Provide technical guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance best practices.

  • Train customers and internal teams on Agilent solutions.

  • Proactively identify and address potential equipment issues to prevent disruptions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role or as an end-user of HPLC systems.

  • Experience with chromatography solutions (Agilent or non-Agilent) is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Ability to travel frequently (60%+); valid driver’s license required (company vehicle provided).

  • Passport and U.S. visa are desirable.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
