Join our 100% remote team and start your adventure with komoot.

About the role

We’re looking for a people and organization coordinator to empower our team members to thrive and reach their full potential. That’s the logic that drives all the People initiatives we design.

Komoot is growing and as part of the People & Organization team, you’ll work with Nati and Katy in operations and play a critical role in making us the favored employer for the best talent throughout Europe. You’ll be supporting our team’s growth in the next few years, providing the best administrative and operational support to our employees directly and partnering with the P&O team to ensure our systems are up-to-date with employee information. You’ll also continuously improve our processes and support our employees in more than 20 countries.

You’ll use various communication methods to keep our fully remote, international team connected and up-to-date on internal policies and processes. You’ll become the go-to person for all internal People administrative and operational questions, and ensure clear and effective communication and guidance for all employees.

Ready for your next adventure?

What you’ll do

In your first three months

  • Take responsibility for basic HR administrative and operational tasks (absence, giving support to employees).
  • Update and keep track of employee information in all our systems.

In your first six months

  • Become the go-to person for employees regarding all People and Operations administrative and operational questions.

In your first nine months

  • Give support to the People and Organisation team in complex tasks.
  • Start collaborating on People projects.
  • Participate in process design and refinement.

Why you’ll love it
  • Your work will contribute to helping millions of people enjoy great outdoor experiences.
  • We’ve been a remote-working company since 2017, meaning: We are remote by default, have frameworks and systems in place, and know how to do it well.
  • You can work from wherever you want, be it a beach, the mountains, your house, or anywhere else that lies in any time zone between UTC-1 and UTC+3.
  • We have your costs covered for your co-working space membership or your work-from-home office setup and the latest devices and equipment to do your best work.
  • You’ll become an essential part of our diverse and international team with colleagues based in 20+ countries across Europe.
  • 38 paid days off (inclusive public holidays) – you are free to take those days whenever it suits you, including a well-deserved winter holiday break.
  • We love seeing people grow. That's why each team member gets €2,000 and 3 additional days to spend on professional development each year. Classes, conferences, books – your choice!

Requirements

You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • Love to work collaboratively in your team and across other teams.
  • Have 1-2 years experience in the HR and people organisation space.
  • Like to interact with people and comfortable being their go-to person.
  • Like to work in a process-driven way but also can take a step back to rethink how we do things and help reduce complexity.
  • Are responsible with the tasks you own and thorough with the data you manage.

Not sure if you meet all requirements above? Don't sweat it — if you think you're the right person anyway, we'd love to hear from you!
