RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements, scope, and objectives;
Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to timelines;
Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment;
Ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software solutions that meet industry standards and client expectations;
Identify potential project risks and implement strategies tomitigate them;
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns;
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation;
Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar role within software development;
Strong background in software development, with proficiency in Java, microservices architecture, MongoDB, Kafka and Cloud technologies;
Agile demand methodology experience;
Demonstrated project management skills;
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
Strong communication skills, with fluency in English;
Proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
Insurance market experience.
