As the Senior Vice President, Commercial for the Olympics and Paralympics, you will further define, implement and optimize revenue-generating strategies for these prestigious global events.  You will be responsible for overseeing all revenue streams associated with the Olympics and Paralympics, ensuring financial success and sustainability.  Reporting directly to the EVP, Olympics and Paralympics, you will lead a high performing team in a matrixed organization driving revenue targets and event operations through various channels.  

  • Revenue Strategy Development:

    • Develop a comprehensive global revenue strategy for the Olympics and Paralympics.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align revenue strategies with the overall goals and values of the Olympic and Paralympic movements.

  • Sponsorship and Partnership Management:

    • Lead the development and execution of a robust sponsorship and partnership strategy, securing and managing relationships with global brands and partners.

    • Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutual value and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Olympic and Paralympic Partnership Management:

    • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with Olympic and Paralympic organizing committees, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with event goals.

    • Negotiate and manage contracts with key stakeholders, including venues, sponsors, and service providers.

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Manage a global team responsible for executing premium hospitality strategies, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to integrate premium hospitality into the broader event strategy.

  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the budget for the Olympic and Paralympic events, tracking revenue performance against targets and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

    • Provide regular financial reports and analysis to executive leadership.

  • Market Analysis and Trends:

    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for revenue growth.

    • Stay informed about changes in the global events landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment and integration of revenue strategies across the organization.

    • Work closely with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to adhere to their guidelines and requirements.

  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating innovative concepts into the Olympic and Paralympic event strategies.

    • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather insights, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes for future events.

You Have These

  • Minimum of 15+ years of senior leadership experience in global event management with a focus on revenue generation, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing revenue strategies for large-scale international events.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience securing and managing high-profile partnerships at the highest level and proven ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • In-depth understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic movements and the unique challenges and opportunities associated with these events.

  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic, high-pressure and cross-cultural environment.

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed and relationship driven organization.

  • A deep understanding of the global market and industry trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Travel: Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel upto 50% for work and during holidays.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.  Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Range Minimum:

$281,250 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$375,000 annually
