Your team

This role is part of our Australian Marketing team – they are responsible for growing our business by building our brand, acquiring new Clients then engaging and retaining them.


Your role in the Team’s Success

Your role will be to support both the Brand and Acquisition marketing functions through the planning, delivery and assessment of BaU and campaign activity..

You will be an essential part of the team coordinating a wide range of projects across multiple disciplines including integrated communications and broadcast advertising, performance marketing in digital channels, PR, partnerships and sponsorships. You will also be a vital conduit for communication with stakeholders and Agency partners.

What you’ll do

Support the Senior Brand and Acquisition Managers with:

  • Campaign Planning
    • Actively participate in the quarterly and annual planning processes including budget allocation proposals.
    • Analyse research to find actionable insights, identify growth opportunities and generate ideas for campaign activity.
    • Perform comprehensive competitor analysis to identify gaps within the market.
    • Maintain a quarterly and annual view of all campaigns and messages in market.

  • Campaign Delivery:
    • Brief writing for creative, media, PR and reporting requirements to internal and external agencies and teams.
    • Develop detailed timelines and traffic creative development through the internal IG Agency and external media partners.
    • Review and perform QC on all assets being a custodian of the IG brand, Compliance protocols and tone of voice to ensure all creative is compliant.
    • Provide constructive and effective feedback to all agencies on work provided.
    • Manage compliance and senior stakeholder sign off on all assets going to market.
    • Monitor and optimise campaign performance with internal paid media specialists.

  • Conversion Rate Optimisation:
    • Support in the delivery of a range of initiatives to increase client conversion from app start to trading.
    • Work with London & Bangalore-based CRO team to identify opportunities across UX and CX.
    • Advocate for and help deliver CRO initiatives that drive first trade numbers.
    • Work with internal teams to develop compelling content for integration through client journeys.

  • Improve Ways of Working:
    • Be constantly on the look out for ways to improve efficiencies in campaign production and delivery.
    • Build and improve templates, trackers and other process documentation or tools.
    • Explore, learn and present cases for use of new applications or tools.

What you’ll need for this role

Ideally you would have experience either Agency or Client side in running integrated communications and marketing campaigns. Specifically:

  • Executional Excellence:
    • Experience managing multiple simultaneous campaigns, projects or deliverables in a communications or marketing channel. Exceptionally organised being able to manage multiple jobs with multiple deliverables over multiple timelines.
    • Strong written and spoken English including excellent brief writing and creative writing to be able to write and edit copy, scripts and content.
    • Experience building and managing complex timelines developed in advance with comprehensive stakeholder consultation. Be able to give thought to QA process, turn around times and time zone differences.
    • Very strong communications skills to manage regular stakeholder kick offs and check ins and present confidently.
    • Ability to lead post-campaign analyses for all activity to summarise performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.

  • Commercial Acumen:
    • Be able to apply a commercial assessment framework to initiatives in order to determine investment and expected ROI.
    • Identify opportunities to improve marketing ROI across role remit. Finding was to be more efficient and spend our money better.
    • Manage PO raising and invoice processing utilising and improving where possible existing budgeting documentation and processes.

  • Creative Mind:
    • The ability to visualise ideas and understand layers of messaging in creative and communications.
    • Think outside the box to find different ways of doing things and communicating.
    • Be able to critically assess creative work including visual design, VO and audio, written tone of voice.

  • Ways of Working:
    • Be able to utilise in office days to build cross functional relationships and maximise effectiveness of face to face time.
    • Identify and recommend ways to improve efficiency across team deliverables.
    • Lead transparent and timely communication across functions, bringing people into the process early and comprehensively.
    • Seek and adapt to regular feedback being comfortable with constructive criticism and embracing feedback as an opportunity to grow and improve.
    • Be a keen learner who asks questions and wants to get to the bottom of anything they don’t know.
    • Have excellent time management understanding the time required to complete tasks and prioritising time to get the most pressing tasks done first.
    • Be actively involved in office culture and happy to present work and achievements to peers representing the Marketing function.
