Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Direct Bill Project Analyst. This role will primarily focus on facilitating the smooth transition of offices to direct billing systems, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring accurate financial transactions.

Your Impact:

  • Work with newly converted offices to update/obtain carrier login details to obtain statements
  • Assist with existing direct bill carrier logins, including unlocking websites or setting up new logins
  • Assist in obtaining statements for aged receipts
  • Reconcile direct bill statements at month-end or throughout the month as needed
  • Monitor monthly legacy bank transfers for existing offices until all carrier banking information is updated and accounts are closed
  • Identify agent codes for Property & Casualty (P&C) to set up carrier downloads
  • Collaborate with the download team on existing and new codes.
  • Manage the setup of agent codes and carrier downloads/ work with AMS (Agency Management System)
  • Manage the Life & Health (L&H) master SmartSheet, identifying carrier payment methods, agent codes by office, and carrier contacts
  • Take on special projects as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of direct bill processes and systems

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; 2+ years of experience in insurance or financial services, preferably in a direct billing or project management role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and reconcile accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SmartSheet or similar project management tools is a plus
  • Experience with AMS (Agency Management System)
  • This position is remote, but occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, and other collaborative activities

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $55,000.00 - $65,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
