We are looking for an Alberta Reliability Standards (ARS) Compliance Specialist to champion the reliability and compliance of ENMAX Power Corporation’s ARS program.
You’ll lead project management for EPC’s ARS program initiatives, collaborating with ENMAX business units to align ARS efforts and strategies. In this role, you’ll ensure our programs meet and exceed legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Major Responsibilities:
Ensure that ENMAX Power Corporation remains compliant with regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and organized evidence that meets internal and regulator specifications
Monitor and track regulatory activities and update procedures and ARS Program materials as required
Support the annual ARS self-certification and triennial ARS audit process
Prepare audit material as required by regulators and internal policies, standards and procedures
Enhance ARS awareness by communicating with Operating Personnel on a regular basis and assisting with any questions that relate to the programs
Design, conduct, and evaluate training and awareness activities for ARS Programs
Project manage new initiatives in the ARS Program, managing schedule, resourcing and scope
Present recommendations to senior leaders and implement aligned recommendations
Assist with root cause analysis and investigations as needed
Education Required:
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum five years previous applied experience in compliance/regulatory program development and implementation
Understanding of the Alberta regulatory environment
Experience with compliance and/or regulatory programs, such as ARS
Experience in technical writing
Working knowledge of SharePoint, Forms or similar systems
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Power-point and Excel)
Utility knowledge/experience is an asset
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action programs is an asset
Competencies:
Effectively communicate regulatory and technical information
Ability to develop and implement procedures that facilitate ARS program
Highly organized with attention to detail
Analyze and interpret information

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
