Daily challenges

  • Expert on EA program and Consulting on MS product Licensing.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional: Designing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations.
  • Microsoft Software Asset Management (SAM) for Medium and Large Organisations.
  • Designing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to SMB Organizations.
  • EMEA EA Account Manager (Large Value Accounts): Escalation contact, providing negotiation support, License advisory services and consultancy for the largest EMEA EA customers.
  • Delivers licensing advisory & consultancy for large accounts and acts as POC for the SME content the customer requests coming from the Delivery RUN teams
  • Management of DXCs EA Azure contract: DXC has over 100 project teams working on thousands of Azure subscriptions to develop, test and provide cloud services to our clients. SLMS manages the maintenance and creation of these subscriptions as needed by internal DXC teams. We also work with DXC IT and Cyber security to ensure best practices maintained to reduce risk across this platform. 
  • POC for Azure Sandbox Funding Project: all DXC Internal teams who need to access any of the $1.2M funding for Azure Sandbox usage.
  • Solutioning for RFP tender requests and EA opportunities:
  • Lead billing admin of DXCs Azure enrolments and manage any change of processes within Azure portal which come via Supply Chain, DXC IT, DXC Security or other teams. As the lead for all Azure management in SLMS I am responsible for working with any new DXC projects who need urgent onboarding to Azure to begin development of DXC IP services or new tenants created.
  • Support amendments to customer Vendor contracts to be processed throughout the year, and License advise required weekly as part of our SLA with them.
  • Support annual anniversary projects which requires True Up order, License reconciliations, reservations, and annual orders transacted.
  • Support large global accounts (Shell and Novartis) which require extensive management and weekly License review calls with stakeholders.
  • Management of the $1.2Million USD worth of Sandbox dollars for DXCs Azure contract and related processes.   
  • Review of Azure management protocols (FY25) with Security and Azure teams
  • Delivers vendor negotiation support for large accounts
  • Point of contact for account escalations
  • Provides solutioning for MS Enterprise Agreement (EA) opportunities
  • Provides solutioning for multivendor licensing opportunities
  • Manages DXC's EA Azure contract
  • Provides vendor contract support
  • Delivers new vendor program training & awareness to Offering and Account teams
  • Supports Offering strategy and roadmap development
  • Point of contact for SLMS-vendor engagements
  • Delivers SLMS pre-sales support
  • SLMS point of contact for DXC/MS Practice & Alliance team engagements

eXperience and skills required

  • Microsoft Licensing Certified Professional is must
  • 10+ years Licensing Customer Support for large Enterprise clients globally
  • 10+ years’ experience in Software Licensing Industry
  • Azure Virtual Machine Solutions Specialist
  • M365 License Specialist
  • Experience & understanding of Microsoft licensing is must
  • Extensive familiarity working with the Microsoft Partner Network environment
  • Ability to build & manage a variety of financial opportunity pipelines essential
  • Experience in resolving high value customer disputes & high stakes negotiations with vendors
  • Experience of third party software resale business, including dealing with end-customers directly regarding Microsoft licensing requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Licensing Desktop and Server software,
  • Proficient in Azure subscription management
  • Excellent written and spoken business English,
  • in-depth Microsoft EA licensing knowledge, and product related knowledge across the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Skilled in Business Alliances, Business Development, and Partner Management.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills required
  • Solid problem solving and consultative skills a must
  • Knowledge of the sales process combined with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with both internal and external customers is needed
  • Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
