Daily challenges

  • Microsoft Licensing Certified professional for below services:
  • ‘Microsoft Online Services’,
  • ‘Cloud Solution Provider Programme’ (CSP)
  • ‘Microsoft Online Services and licensing’
  • MS Audit Support specialist
  • Lead Point of Contact (POC) for Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Program (CSP): Product use rights, queries, support, onboarding, renewals etc. Maximization of DXC discounts, incentives & funding to sell to the market for each DXC CSP opportunity.
  • Lead POC for 10+ DXC Strategic Vendors: Support and Escalation Path for Global Vendor queries, building executive relationships, supporting HP/HPE/DXC and vendor events, communicating changes to vendor programs and managing changes internally.
  • Divestiture Licensing Support: Supporting DXC Divestiture team with divestitures to ensure limited financial impact to DXC/customers.
  • POC for DXC/MS Practice.  Actively attend weekly/ monthly calls.
  • POC for DXC Alliance teams: Continue to build executive level relationships with the alliance teams/ Microsoft Practice and drive joint go to market strategic partnerships to maximize revenue growth.
  • Microsoft Partner contact: Monitor MS Partner announcements / attend Partner calls and provide articles/ training in relation to changes to Microsoft Cloud Program. Identify and implement Process Improvements including engagement with Microsoft regarding program updates and new releases
  • Support RFP’s. Provide specialist knowledge during any focus sales and marketing campaigns/events to advise on appropriate licensing models and solutions and assist with commercials
  • Responsible for CSP program management across all our top CSP customer accounts, current account list includes 200+ CSP Accounts/ Direct Customers Globally. 
  • Cloud Solutioner for Global Business
  • Management of Vendor Contracts
  • Management of divestitures and impact to existing Vendor Contracts
  • Cloud Solution Lead – supporting customers and DXC Accounts with Licensing guidance and suggest best fit for their needs/ suggestion for cost savings/ onboarding/ ongoing support/ Renewals etc
  • Support and Escalation Path for Global Vendor queries
  • Supporting Microsoft Practice with divestitures to ensure limited/ no financial impact to DXC/ DXC customers.
  • Managing Projects related to vendor changes to ensure minimal impact to DXC Accounts/ DXC customers.
  • Provide articles in relation to changes to Microsoft Cloud Program to ensure DXC and End Customer are aware of changes
  • Support DXC Supply Chain with Vendor Queries which may include building our process for DXC to manage Vendor Business when there are program changes
  • Continue to build executive level relationships with the alliance teams/ Microsoft Practice and drive joint go to market strategic partnerships to maximize revenue growth.
  • Responsible for ensuring clients adhere to the terms of their agreement through general licensing support as well as in depth compliance reviews

eXperience and skills required

  • Microsoft Licensing Certified Professional is must
  • 10 + years’ experience as Software Global Vendor Manager
  • 10+ years Licensing Customer Support for large Enterprise clients globally
  • 10+ years’ experience in Software Licensing Industry
  • 10+ Years Project Management related to Software vendor changes/ Software vendor audits to ensure minimal impact to DXC Account Executives/ DXC customers
  • Experience & understanding of Microsoft licensing is must
  • Extensive familiarity working with the Microsoft Partner Network environment
  • Licensing skills on Non-Microsoft business: VMware, Redhat, Oracle, SAP, Citrix
  • Ability to build & manage a variety of financial opportunity pipelines essential
  • Experience in resolving high value customer disputes & high stakes negotiations with vendors
  • Experienced in Software Vendor Management (includes contract negotiations, operations management, service delivery management, project management, customer service and business development)
  • Experience of third party software resale business, including dealing with end-customers directly regarding Microsoft licensing requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Licensing Agreements required
  • Skilled in Business Alliances, Business Development, and Partner Management.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills required
  • Solid problem solving and consultative skills a must
  • Able to build relationships and quickly develop trust with clients, as well as internal personnel, needed
  • Knowledge of the sales process combined with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with both internal and external customers is needed
  • Fluency in English language (spoken and written).
