We are seeking a Operations Program Coordinator I to help us fulfill that mission. The Operations Program Coordinator I is responsible for ensuring operational deliverables are fulfilled for large-scale assessment contracts and/or product lifecycles with the number and complexity of contracts determined by position level. This position collaborates with and serves internal and external partners who contribute to the deliverables as well as our customers.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary in the range of $50,000 to $55,000, depending on the level. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Location: Remote (can also be onsite or hybrid if in Iowa City, Iowa area)
What you will be working on:
- Primary responsibility is for large scale operational program delivery for B2G and B2B customers
- May serve as primary operational contact for large scale operational program delivery for B2G contract customers
- Builds out operational specifications based on contract requirements and customer needs with a focus on meeting the operational deliverables following a master schedule to ensure these are completed accurately and on time
- Communicate with customers as operational subject matter expert by participating in customer meetings (most often virtual) including large-scale training sessions and/or conferences
- Represent the team in internal development work
- Work toward the completion of schedules
- Contribute to shared operational projects in addition to assigned contracts
Role Progression:
- Within 1 month you will have a high-level understanding of ACT's products and customers and will be getting to know the team and the work they do. You also will start introductions to customers alongside your program teams and begin building customer relationships.
- Within 3 months you will be able to track your work to upcoming product and client milestones and will be fully integrated to all Operational teams with which you will interact. You will be working alongside your program teams and be the primary operational representative speaking with and on behalf of your customer but will continue to receive solid internal support in order for you to be successful.
- Within 6 months you will be able to support all activities for and questions from your customers and will know how to locate and use internal resources. You will also be fully integrated into team primary areas of focus which will include supporting internal team and process development.
This could be the job for you if you have (minimum requirements):
- A minimum of 2-5 years of program management or operational contract delivery
- Experience creating strong client relationships
- Experience working in a team environment
- Prior participation in continous improvment related to systems, processes, and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, utilizing problem solving skills and have learn-as-you-go mindset
- Ability to balance current processes with changing business needs
- Prioritizes needs and experiences of customers and puts them at center of decision making
- Ability to utilize product operations knowledge gained through product training as well as on-the-job training and work experience
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals inside and outside the organization
- Actively seeks and engages with diverse perspectives and invites a sense of belonging
- Uses self-starter approach, ability to multi-task, proactively anticipates and acts on information and details needed, completes tasks with little to no direction
- Remains current in area of expertise, seeks opportunities to expand and grow skills
- Acts decisively with sound judgement; uses data to analyze and options and form opinions
- Ability to identify and participate in continuous improvement activities related to systems, processes, and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or related area of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
It’s a plus if you have:
- Operational contract delivery experience
- Education/Assessment industry experience
- Experience using Salesforce, MS Project Schedule and/or assessment delivery systems
