Contract - Graphic Designer

About the Job

Anthro Energy is a fast-growing battery startup seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis.

In this role, you will work closely with our product, sales, and leadership teams to design compelling visual assets for presentations, slides, and collateral that effectively communicates our product offerings and brand message.

What you will do

• Design visually engaging slide decks for internal and external presentations to investors, clients, and partners that effectively communicate our product’s value 

• Design marketing collateral including brochures, product sheets, email templates, flyers and conference materials 

• Work closely with the sales team to ensure brand consistency across all visual materials including company website, slide decks, and product sheets 

• Develop and maintain design templates to streamline the creation of future presentations and collateral 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design needs and ensure timeline delivery of materials 

• Revise designs based on feedback and ensure high-quality output 

• Stay updated on design trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of visual communications. 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills. 

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar 

• Experience creating presentation slides (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) 

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines 

• Strong attention to detail and creativity in visual design. Ability to understand and translate complex concepts into visually appealing designs 

• Knowledge of branding principles and how to apply them across different mediums 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback constructively 

• Previous experience in a tech or hardware-related industry is a plus 

• An interest in technology and clean-tech is a plus 

• Familiarity with web design (e.g., basic HTML/CSS or tools like WordPress is a plus) 

• Experience with video editing or motion graphics (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects) 

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles 

• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
