Job description

 

Position Summary: 

The Contact Centre Sales Agent supports Connect Hearing marketing initiatives by executing calls for product and sales focused campaigns. The primary focus is to book complementary hearing tests and revenue generating appointments for both new and existing customers in alignment with company targets and conversion goals.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contact Centre, and a part of the Contact Centre department, this role is fully remote working from home.  The selected candidate will need reside within a province of Canada that is WCB covered by Connect Hearing (BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, NS, NB, PE).

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct task-specific outbound calls on behalf of Marketing to support organizational/operational plans 

  • Meeting individual and team goals, contributing company targets for booking hearing tests 

  • Maintaining standards for Key Performance Indicators including appointments booked, calls handled and quality monitoring 

  • Schedule client and branch appointments as outlined in the department goals and targets, scheduling to best use skill sets of branch staff 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Connect Hearing products and services to optimize sales opportunities 

  • Research and update clients’ files as they are contacted to maintain customer data integrity 

  • Follow call scripting to ensure Marketing directives are supported 

  • Operate PC to access e-mail, electronic calendars and other office support software 

  • Perform data entry of client information, and other functionally related duties as assigned 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 

  • 1-2 years of inbound, outbound or blended call centre experience considered an asset 

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team 

  • Basic working knowledge of Excel and typing skills 

  • Experience working with the elderly and/or hard of hearing considered an asset 

  • Combination of education and experience may be considered  

  • Ability to work with customers with various temperaments and handle difficult customers  

  • Effective communication skills 

  • Ability to multitask, to intake information over the phone and accurately enter data into the system 

  • Ability to remain at a desk for most of the day while wearing a headset 

 

What We Offer: 

  • Annual salary ranges from $40-43,000 per year based on experience
