Location: Remote, Beaverton or Seattle

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 
 
We are searching for a Sr. Event Manager experienced in Sponsorship fulfillment to join
our Opus team. This role will be responsible for managing sponsorship fulfillment on multiple
medium to large -scale programs. You are responsible for the success of the project by
ensuring stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and additional contributors understand what is
expected of them and to drive seamless execution.
 
Sr. Event Managers are strong communicators that anticipate their clients’ needs, drive planning schedules, manage budgets, and understand Opus processes to deliver unique experiences. 
 
YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • 5+ years of experience in Sponsorship Fulfillment
  • Extensive budget management skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of vendors and event staff
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite, Google
    Suite & Drive, AirTable and/or Quip program experience preferred; Monday.com
    experience is a bonus
  • Highly detailed and able to muti-task with limited direction
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and as a report to a project lead
  • Thrive on supporting and working collaboratively with different workstyles, teams,
    clients seamlessly
  • Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment
  • Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions 
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
  • Manage sponsor deliverables 
  • Communicate with sponsors including welcome email, know before you go, booth
    assignments, deliverables and onsite reminders
     
  • Run various weekly calls with vendors 
  • Create and drive a workback schedule related to sponsorship deliverables 
  • Connect the dots on interdependencies between sponsorship and other
    workstreams
     
  • Collaborate with the expo manager on expo rules and guidelines, plus working back
    on the floor plan together to ensure proper number of booths and meeting rooms
    are taken into consideration
     
  • Manage the booth selection process 
  • Work with registration manager on appropriate allocation of sponsorship pass 
  • Create sponsorship signage plan and manage the review/approval process 
  • Confirm orders for staffing and lead retrieval devices 
  • Manage marketing promotion opportunities deliverables and orders 
  • Order furniture, signage, and services as outlined in custom contracts 
  • Create and host sponsor webinars and/or planning calls 
  • Build and manage the sponsor portal

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU 
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between
$75,000 and $95,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market
compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training,
transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is
subject to change and may be modified in the future.
