We are looking for a Cloud Ops Administrator who will:

To succeed as a Cloud Ops Administrator II, professionals must possess a diverse skill set, including:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
• General knowledge of on-premises virtualization, storage and network management
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, DNS, Transit Gateways and load balancing.
• Understanding of data storage and database technologies.
• Experience with using containers and Amazon EKS an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Administration an advantage

Cloud Ops Administrator Responsibilities

• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Modifying and improving existing systems.
• Collaborating with teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Deploying cloud-based systems for non-prod and prod environments using IaC.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
• Working as part of a global team using follow the sun rotations to support environments across the global
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who has:

• Degree in computer science or a similar field.
• At least 1 years of hands-on experience in the field of cloud computing.
• Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications highly regarded.
• Experience deploying IaC is preferred.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Python scripting an advantage
• Terraform deployment experience is preferred.
