Come join our team as our new Marketing Director North America, Chemistry and Immunoassay Solutions leads a marketing team to develop and implement strategies to strengthen Beckman Coulter’s presence in the Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay (CCIA) market and achieve annual revenue and profitability objectives. You and your team will partner with the Sales organization to drive the execution of downstream marketing tactics, develop programs and tools in support of the strategic priorities to the North America market. You will collaborate extensively with Global Marketing, Business Units and Medical Scientific Affairs representing the Voice of Customer and Sales to provide input for consideration in product road maps and innovative marketing approaches.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop and drive the North America CCIA strategy, including launching new analyzers and multiple new assays.

  • Monitor target markets, analyze performance data, and implement strategies to move customers through the buying cycle, including sales playbooks, promotions, and customer communication.

  • Lead North America sales and customer communication strategy, including regional user group meetings, trade shows, and customer events.

  • Architect and execute menu expansion strategies for the existing install base upon new assay launches.

  • Build relationships with key thought leaders to gather VOC and market needs while staying informed on industry trends and competitive activity.

  • Provide inputs for forecasts, demand planning, and lead annual budgeting and operational planning for marketing activities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to support key accounts, strengthen customer relationships, and remove roadblocks to closing deals.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in field (medical technology, life science, or engineering) with 10+ years exp. OR Master’s degree in field with 8+ years exp. OR Doctoral degree in field with 6+ years exp.  

  • MBA preferred.  

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical diagnostics sales or commercial marketing, ideally in chemistry, immunoassay, and automation/clinical IT markets. 

  • Experience leading teams preferred. 

  • Commercial experience, ideally with a focus on market development, downstream marketing and/or sales. 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Up to 50% travel, including both domestic and international locations.

  • Occasional requirements include walking, sitting, standing, and handling objects.

  • Travel by car and air is necessary, with potential long wait times.

  • Predominantly office-based work with a quiet to moderate noise level.

The salary range role is $170,000 - $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
